At A New Beginning Health Services, we provide therapy services for children and adolescents from ages BIRTH TO 21 years old. Our therapists are trained to work with different age groups and tailor the therapy approach accordingly.
Therapy sessions vary based on the individual needs of each child. Sessions usually last 30 to 60 minutes. For younger children, play therapy and language activities may be used, while older children might engage in talk therapy or other evidence-based interventions.
The duration of therapy depends on the unique circumstances and progress of each child. Some children may see positive changes in a few sessions, while others may require more extended support. We regularly evaluate progress and work collaboratively with families to determine the most appropriate treatment plan.
During visits with your primary care provider, they will help determine appropriate referrals based on the child’s challenges. However, if you are concerned, and need assistance, please contact us.
