Asha is a Speech-Language Pathologist who earned her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a minor in Gender Studies from University of California, Riverside. She received her Master’s degree in Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences from San Francisco State University. She has experience in private practice, primary, and secondary schools. She has worked with individuals presenting with Autism, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Speech Sound Disorders, Intellectual Disabilities, Emotional Disturbances, Expressive and Receptive Language Disorders, and Pragmatic Deficits. She specializes in Autism, Language Development, Early Intervention and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). She has also had the privilege of working with individuals ages 1 year to 20 years old. She collaborated with a multidisciplinary team consisting of Psychologists, Behavioral Specialists, Special Education Teachers, General Education Teachers, Resource Specialists, Occupational Therapists and families. Asha has a huge devotion to provide evidence-based practices, culturally linguistic services as well as support families as they navigate through the journey of understanding different abilities. She is licensed by the board of Georgia and California. Asha holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from American Speech-Language Hearing Association. In her spare time, she enjoys crafting, watching football, attending hot yoga classes and taking her dog to various Dog Park events in Atlanta.
